My name is Joaquin Chavez. I am a programmer, entrepreneur, and a gamer. In my life, my passion has always been programming and to continue to learn new things whenever I have the time to. My goal is to further increase my skills and come up with new goals to further challenge myself in the future.

In middle school, I started to learn to code robotics and that has started my passion and future to become a programmer. It was only the beginning so I started to self taught myself to develop javascript apps and create my first "Hello World" with HTML.

Finishing middle school, I developed an interest in Meridian Technical Charter High School, which specializes in Web/Software Development and Computer Science. I chose to focus on Computer Science, learning PHP, MySQL, and Java to create applications and websites. In my spare time during high school, I taught myself Full Stack Development to expand my programming knowledge and skills. After graduating from high school, my computer science teacher recommended Codeworks, a school that teaches Full Stack Development. I passed a technical interview and enrolled in Codeworks to deepen my understanding of full stack development. Graduating from Codeworks, I acquired new languages and skills, setting more goals for my future. I am committed to continuous learning and growth in programming.

Through my years of programming, I have developed a wide range of skills that have enabled me to become a proficient Full Stack Developer. I am experienced in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and have used a framework Vue.js to build dynamic and responsive user interfaces. On the back end, I have worked with languages like Node.js, and Java, and have experience with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB. I am skilled in using RESTful APIs to connect the front end and back end of applications, and have a strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns. I am also familiar with version control systems like Git and have experience with cloud platform such as AWS. I am committed to continuing to increase my skills and knowledge as a Full Stack Developer, and am eager to take on new challenges and projects in the field.
